A golden day
In a sea of black
When the light seeps out
Through a little crack
A day when I feel like
I am floating on clouds
And those stormy rain ones
Are nowhere to be found
When the only weight on my head
Is that of a crown
And my weeping heart
For once makes no sound
These are days
That I treasure inside
The small, green saplings
The hints of new life
For I know when
The dark clouds roll in again
That those short moments
Are signs the darkness will end
And very soon
Another bright day will come
And one day, this sadness
Will forever be gone
A Golden Day
