Disappointed in yourself
Repulsed by your own flaws
You’ve seen your mistakes
And the damage that they’ve caused

The reality of it is distressing
Is hard for you to face
What do you do with such a revelation?
How do you stand under this weight?

But your power is only limited
There are some things you can’t control
Mistakes are in human nature
They are found in us all

But God knew
He foresaw all of your stumbling
Knew you would let Him down
Knew that you would sin

And as a final insult
To the enemies of your soul
He will weave your failures into His story
Use them as launchpads for His goal

And so the things
That you regret the most
Can become the tools
God uses to save souls

And the misery in your heart
Becomes inverted into joy
The bitter tears sowed in dark times
Into flowers, they grow
