I sang a song
But a silence ate it
I wrote a letter
But the ink was wasted
I let words flow
Let truth be
But found that the words
Were nowhere to be seen
I poured out my heart’s sorrow
That tender emotion
As a raging river
But it was swallowed by an ocean
I lost those words
But now I see
That all those words
Were building something in me
