Among the stars
Looking for the answer
To my multitude of scars
But the stars charred me
With the heat of their resistance
And the void chilled me
By the extent of its indifference
Heart broken
I descended to earth
Accepted my place
Among the dirt
It was here that I
Found a different star
The warming furnace
Of a friendly heart
