Rotten

Old milk
Stagnates inside
Curdling in
The recesses of the mind

It forms soggy clumps
That swell with green mould
Putrid fluids oozing
In every fold

The brain becomes clogged
With this festering mess
As envy and jealousy
Transform into bitterness

Slowly the mind
Turns into a gloop
As the head sloshes
With this fetid soup

Other poems on Bitterness

The Bitter Crowning
Black Poison
Bitter Root
